Create random melodies in 12 major and 12 natural minor keys. Choose 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, 7/8 (2+2+3), 9/8 or 12/8, with 4 or 8 bars and three difficulty levels: beginner, eighth notes, or advanced with sixteenth notes, dotted rhythms, syncopation, triplets, quintuplets, sextuplets and larger melodic leaps. Compound groups can also include duplets. Play along with a soft piano or flute sound and follow each highlighted note on the score. Adjust the tempo from 40 to 160 BPM, use a one-bar count-in, metronome and repeat, or hide note names to practise sight-reading. The tempo symbol identifies the metronome pulse. Mute the sound, print the current score, or export the melody as MIDI with its tempo, meter, key and instrument. Sounds are synthesized in your browser; no microphone or audio files are needed.
